Update: Summer 2011

One of the hazards of living at the beach is a sandy camera. Mine will no longer open and I refuse to buy a new one since I have to upgrade my phone soon anyway. Therefore, these catch up pictures are from other people, a summer full of experiences with many missing, but I suppose it's better than nothing!

In reverse chronological order, starting with Hurricane Irene:

These fancy cake pops were made by Karen for Camryn's birthday party at the beginning of August. Like last year, the party was at Croatan on the beach. Totally sweet way to spend a kid's birthday when you're an adult. Thanks Psimas'!

These next pics are from our trip north to CapeCod. We stayed (with the Mudges, Psimas' and Elizabeth) at Peter's Pond Park, where Kevin's family used to camp when he was a kid. Although our original position on "Ballfield One" was amusing, our second site was freakin' amazing.

 After 3 glorious days (even more appreciated because of the 100 degree + heat wave in Virginia Beach in weeks prior), we headed to PA when it started to rain for a Christmas in July party.

 Virginia Beach has certainly had its share of visitors this summer. ($10 if you get the reference... except if you're Raf). DaYna and Michel came for Cam's birthday:

 Rachel visited in May, reuniting Sandy and I despite living 2 miles apart.

 And my dad and Gayle came for Brandon and Erin's wedding in June:

 We also had the Cioffi's here a few weeks ago and my mom and Greg last week, but there were no pictures posted to steal. Feel free to send them so I can add them!
