Levi and Julie's Wedding

As you will quickly realize from these pictures, Kevin was in charge of the camera for most of the evening. Therefore, this post comes with a disclaimer that I do not know the person featured here and submit that it possibly isn't me, as I have very little recollection of some of the events you will see. Enjoy!

Our table mates, David and Anne:

I love these boys, David and Derek:

Derek and Amber:

Jen and Matt:

Jen S. and Amber:

Miss Lexi, absentee flower girl:

Kevin, looking innocent:

Seth, after disrobing:

And here comes the Meghan's birthday fun photo gallery... Notice Kevin, pointing to the subject of ridicule:

Kevin calls this one "Sad at the ex-boyfriend's wedding", while I call it "Suddenly realizing what this will feel like tomorrow":

Attractive, eh?

Looking puzzled....

Am I sleeping in this one?

This must have been some kind of conversation... me and Ashley:

This one about sums it up:

Needless to say, it was a really good time. If I had been in charge, there would be at least one picture of Julie and Levi, but alas, you will have to check other peoples' posts for that. Congrats guys! Great way to end the first lap of wedding streak...

Two sandwiches?

Trying real hard to pretend summer's not ending... no pictures of the trailer as promised (Tomorrow maybe? I'm actually trying to get some work done.), but here are some of us at Waterman's enjoying Orange Crushes and Miss Rhonda's special pie with Haylea and Heard:

Surviving

Blog slump.

Forgot to take pictures at Carrie-Anne's wedding, so I have no record of my trip to PA. I visited Bev, hung with my mom and Greg, and had lunch with Steph. Maddy came along and the drive took 7.5 hours so I was not about to be writing an exciting account of my trip. Here is the only evidence I was even there:

Now I'm back to school, full-time. I will take some pictures of my new "classroom" tomorrow. I am in a trailer park. One teacher said that when her lovely grassy view was obstructed by the portables, her classroom property value went down.

I really like the job, the school, the people so far. I get to come home at a decent hour (by 4PM), go to the pool, play with the dog, then do something productive (clean, pay bills, exercise), all with a normal bed time. I also get to enjoy meals like this:

My Raf is freakin' gourmet. He calls this "Chicken cutlet with lemon and wine, covered in italian cheeses, with a creamy pesto/red chili pepper sauce on a bed of angel hair pasta, garnished with fresh garden cherry tomatoes". The tomatoes and pepper are from our garden and the pesto is from my mom's garden. Not too shabby, my friends.

Ted the Monster

Kev's thinking about opening an entertainment business for families with multiple children and new babies... anyone want to hire Ted the Monster?

NYC 2009

I already typed an entire post for about 45 minutes and my computer crashed so here is the less charming or funny version.

We went to New York for the weekend. I had a lot of clever things to say, but instead you get a list of pictures and captions ala a facebook album.

Day 1- Thursday. Arrival, Cellar Bar, game night at Allie's:

1. The boats at "On the Waterfront", one of our favorite New Rochelle destinations. This is where Kev's dad used to "park" the boat, where Molly would famously get french fries from the kitchen, and where I changed my pants in the parking lot.

2. The reunion, at the Cellar Bar.

3. The games, at Allie's house. Apparently Matt carries Cranium around in his car so we played. Here we have Allie, master of eye closed drawing, deep in thought followed by Matt and Bryan acting out clues that look hilarious out of context, then some nicer shots of the kids.

Day 2- Friday. Baseball camp:

1. Kevin, working hard helping out at Rising Star Baseball Camp, where he used to work.

2. No other shots. I forgot. We had lunch at Carmine's (awesome), saw Bryan's new place, then went to Buffalo Wild Wings to meet Tone and company, even though he lives in Virginia Beach and we have a Wild Wings 3 minutes from our house. We also went bowling for awhile, which was pretty fun.

Day 3- Saturday. Museum, Stouts, OAR:

1. Museum shots. After lunch in the city, we went to a museum near Central Park to kill time. Below is the only moose we were going to see this summer (albeit stuffed) and a quote I liked from a Kenyan proverb.

2. Dinner at Stouts, a restaurant/bar near Madison Square Gardens where the previous OAR show from last summer/winter/fall/spring was on TV. Kevin sang along while Matt was mad and I tried to keep my eyes open for a picture.

3. Waiting for the OAR show. The boys (Kevin, Matt, and Uncle Dave) began a new business called "Beers for... " (blank not to be filled for public consumption) and drank from straws in the new style.

4. During the show. Here are some stage shots of our great seats (especially since they were purchased last minute) and some shots of us enjoying the show.

5. Confetti shots. During "Crazy Game of Poker" they dropped poker shaped confetti.

After the show, we returned to New Rochelle, then drove home through the night in a record-breaking 6.5 hours. Home sweet home... for 4 more days until I go back to PA!
